Circus Harmony is:
- Part of Circus Day Foundation, an organization focused on Social Circus programs that use circus arts to inspire individuals and connect communities
- a show that is a confluence of tumbling, juggling, balancing, aerial artistry and clowning performed by children from different backgrounds and set to a medley of melodies played by different musicians from various cultures
- a concept of crossing cultural boundaries musically, artistically and socially
- this exciting, eclectic CD collection of marvelous music from multicultural musicians who accompany youth circus performers
Circus Harmony gives hope to its audiences by demonstrating that people from different cultures can work and live and perform together in a constructive, cooperative way to create symphonies of sensational performance art to inspire all of us.
Circus Harmony: First Movement is the first in a series of CDs and shows featuring fantastically talented musicians and youth circus performers. The First Movement CD is on sale NOW! The CD release party will be Sunday, January 23rd at City Museum from 1 to 4. The full show, Circus Harmony: First Movement, will be on Saturday, February 26 at 3 and 8. Tickets go on sale on January 23rd. This CD is available for sale here or at City Museum (go to www.citymuseum.org for times and directions.)
